Fee questions
Is it bulk billed?
Bulk billed for eligible patients. If you’re not eligible, a consultation fee may apply, and we’ll confirm it with you before your consult.
Who is eligible for bulk billing?
Medicare has rules about which telehealth consults can be bulk billed. Our team checks your eligibility when they contact you to book, and confirms any fee before your consult.
What if I don’t have a Medicare card?
You can still request a consult. A consultation fee applies, and we’ll confirm it with you before your consult. Specialist, imaging and pathology fees won’t be rebated by Medicare either.
Do I pay the specialist separately?
Yes. Specialists, radiology practices and pathology providers set their own fees. Some bulk bill, others charge a gap. A valid referral is what gets you the full Medicare rebate on their fees.
Will I be charged without knowing?
No. We confirm any fee with you before your consult.
