Referral GP is operated by Westergaard Pty Ltd (ABN 22 663 084 900). By using this website or requesting a consult, you agree to these terms.

Our service

Referral GP arranges telehealth consultations with AHPRA-registered Australian general practitioners, by phone or video. Your GP exercises their own clinical judgement. A consultation doesn’t guarantee a referral, a request for tests or imaging, or any particular treatment. Specialists, imaging and pathology providers are independent of us and set their own fees and booking requirements.

Not for emergencies

This service isn’t suitable for emergencies. If you or someone else is seriously unwell or in danger, call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department. For health advice any time, call healthdirect on 1800 022 222.

Eligibility

Our service is for people in Australia at the time of their consult. Requests must be made by an adult aged 18 or over. A parent or guardian can request a consult for a child under 18 and must join the consult.

Fees

Bulk billed for eligible patients. If you’re not eligible, a consultation fee may apply, and we’ll confirm it with you before your consult. Your GP will always tell you about any cost before going ahead.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate and complete information, including about your identity, your health, any medicines you take and any previous results or referrals.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland.
